Environmental Protection

Feng Tay continues to further reduce our environmental footprints through energy and water management and waste treatment. We installed a solar power system on the rooftop of the Headquarters and a factory in China; In India, we signed a Power Purchasing Agreement to import green energy produced by an external wind power plant and solar power system; we also purchased green energy produced by geothermal energy in Indonesia, in order to reduce indirect greenhouse gas emissions from consumption of purchased electricity.

Feng Tay Group pays great attention to issues of environmental protection, climate change and ecological conservation. To achieve our goal of sustainable operations, we have established the MESH system to carry out our environmental policy and management system. Please refer to our Sustainability Report for details.

Energy Consumption and Carbon Emissions

In accordance with the Group's "Energy and Water Efficiency Management Guidelines," Feng Tay continues to implement energy-saving projects, improve manufacturing process, increase energy efficiency, promote clean energy projects, and increase renewable energy use.

Water Management


Following the "Energy and Water Efficiency Management Guidelines", the Group has devoted to reducing the amount of water use and improving water use efficiency. We also look for alternative water resources, such as rainwater and recycled water, in the hope that our dependence on tap water and impacts on the environment will be reduced.

Waste Treatment and Disposal

In order to reduce the waste generated in the manufacturing process, we look for alternative materials during the shoe model development stage and reduce product defect rates. Reusable packaging is utilized to reduce packaging material waste. We also actively search for better waste recycling techniques and partners to further increase waste recycling rate.
